TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Sport1 Mandal runs a bike rental service where persons and companies can rent bikes.

We point out that the use of a bicycle is associated with risk.  Care must always be taken and traffic rules followed.  Always wear a helmet.


The person who rents a bicycle is responsible for any damage caused to the bicycle or additional equipment rented from Sport 1 Mandal As.


Sport 1 Mandal is not responsible for any damage that may occur, including damage to third party property.  Therefore, no compensation is provided for damage to yourself or your belongings during the rental period.


For any damage to third party property, the tenant is liable with his own liability insurance.


The customer is responsible at the end of the trip to place the bicycle according to  agreement, locked and with key placed in mailbox.


The tenant has checked and controlled the bike and helmet himself and found it in order.


Regarding bicycle helmet: A helmet is required when using a bicycle, and when renting, a helmet is also included in the price.


The bike is delivered with 1 key, and the customer is responsible for ensuring that the bike is always responsibly locked.


Bicycles and equipment that is damaged, lost or exposed to theft must be replaced.
Lost and damaged equipment must be replaced.
Bicycles that are stolen must be replaced with a deductible of:
  • Bicycles for adults NOK 4,000
  • Children's bicycles NOK 2,000
  • Electric Bicycles NOK 8,000

 Bicycles that are damaged are replaced according to accrued costs at the workshop.
Sport 1 Mandal has the right to invoice damages and losses of bicycles that are not settled directly.

The bike's rental period is from 08.00 to 22.00 unless otherwise agreed with Sport 1 Mandal. 
The bikes are picked up and delivered at Sport 1 Mandal.
Delivery is in the backyard of Sport 1, where the bike is locked, helmets and equipment are put in the shed and the key to the bike is dropped in the safe.

Privacy

Sport1 Mandal processes your personal information in a secure data register in order to fulfill its obligations and safeguard its rights according to leases. The personal information that is processed is name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. All stored information is available on "My Account". The Tenant has the right to have his personal information removed from the Landlord's systems, which is done by contacting Your Company in person.

Your debit card will be stored as long as you have an active order. The payment card is stored at our payment intermediary Stripe or NETS. They store the information in a safe and secure way. Saving debit cards makes it even easier when you shop. You can delete payment cards on your site. Your Company does not store any credit card details itself.

Sport 1 Mandal uses cookies, like most other online stores. Cookies store data in your browser so that the website will recognize you from page to page and visit to visit. We can then recognize who you are so that you can, among other things, get the right prices and easier login. We also collect usage information to improve the quality of the service.

Choice of law
These terms are subject to and shall be construed in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed venue is Oslo District Court.
Changes
Your Company reserves the right to change or replace these terms at any time. Current terms are always available at yourcompany.no. If Your Company considers that the changes in the terms are significant in relation to the tenant's rights or obligations, the changes will be made available on yourcompany.no 30 days before they take effect.

By using the service after the changes to the terms have been made available on Sport1 mandal's web pages, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not want to accept the new terms, you can not use Sport1 Mandal's rental service.
